Most poker tournaments has money as prizes. Money can come and go, but
a trophy is something that you can keep with you for life. With a poker
trophy, you will always have proof that you've won a poker tournament.
ProPokerGuide.com decided to review a few trophies from PokerTrophies.com.
ChipChampion brand "Bobblehead Action" Trophy:
The chip on this fun award swings and bounces around in a traditional
"bobblehead" style. The trophy stands at 4.5" tall. We
didn't get any custom engraving on this small award, but it is engravable
with two lines of space.
ChipChampion brand "Best Hand" Trophy:
This poker trophy is made of solid resin, and accented in gold and pewter
tones. Hand shows a straight flush in hearts. Great trophy for the "best
hand" of the night. Award stands at 5" tall. The custom engraving
was done with gold foil for this trophy. As you can see from the picture
for this poker trophy, our ProPokerGuide did not appear clearly. Our site
name ProPokerGuide was barely visible and looked like it was smudged.
The words came out clearly through.
ChipChampion brand "Stand Up" Poker or Casino Trophy:
This trophy stands at 6-1/4" tall. The award weighs 1 pound. We customized
it with our logo and had it say Texas Hold Em Championship on one line,
and PPG 3rd Place Winner on the third line. The engraving for the logo
came out pretty well. You can feel the engravation and every word can
be seen clearly. It has a nice solid weight to it.
ChipChampion brand "Large Chip" Award Plaque:
This huge award can sit on desk or hang on the wall. The heftiest of the
ChipChampion line, this award is a boastful 12" round, and weighs
a whopping 5-1/2" pounds! Their poker chip awards had the best engraving
out of all the awards that we tested. The award is huge, so the logo was
engraved clearer since they had more room to work with. This award is
about 1 inch thick, and comes with two long metal screw like stick for
you to stand on a desk. If you want you can hang it on a wall, you can
use the built in metal hook on the back.
The trophies that you see in this review came from PokerTrophies.com.
